A POOR STUDENT

Story

A POOR STUDENT

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the hills, there lived a poor student named Ravi. Ravi was a bright and diligent student, but he came from a family that struggled to make ends meet. His father was a daily wage laborer, and his mother worked as a maid in a few houses in the village. Despite their financial struggles, Ravi's parents recognized the importance of education and did everything they could to support their son's studies. They saved every penny they could and made sure Ravi had the necessary books and supplies for school. Ravi was determined to excel in his studies, and he spent every spare moment buried in books. He often studied late into the night, using a flickering oil lamp to light his room. Even though he was tired from a long day of work, Ravi never lost his enthusiasm for learning. One day, a notice was put up in the village announcing a scholarship exam for poor students. The scholarship would cover all expenses for further studies, including tuition fees, books, and even a small stipend for living expenses. Ravi was overjoyed at the prospect of being able to continue his studies without burdening his parents. He worked hard, preparing for the exam, and his diligence paid off. He scored the highest marks in the exam and was awarded the scholarship. Ravi's parents were thrilled at the news. They knew that their son's dedication and hard work had paid off, and they were proud of him. Ravi was delighted too, knowing that this scholarship would change his life forever. From that day on, Ravi worked even harder. He went on to complete his education and became a teacher himself. He never forgot his humble beginnings and always worked to help other poor students in his village achieve their dreams. Years later, when Ravi looked back on his journey, he realized that it was his poverty that had given him the strength and determination to succeed. He had learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and never giving up, and these lessons had stayed with him throughout his life.
